Average Daily Costs of Comprehensive Car Insurance

Hi,I am an English student making a road trip around the US/Canada with a friend from Vancouver to LA from early August to late November. We are buying a vehicle for $5000 and looking to insure it for comprehensive and collision cover. What is an average daily amount we can expect to be paying ? Many thanks

Answer:

You cannot get a daily rate.  All companies in the US have 6 or 12 months policies which you can pay on monthly basis so you can calculate your daily rate based on what your policy rate will be.   You can go to CarInsuranceRates.com to get multiple quotes from top rates insurance companies.
