I am a 23 year old German resident with an International Drivers License and will be travelling to the USA this summer. I am staying with friends and they offered me to lend me their car if I needed to go somewhere or visit place, but I am rather unsure if I am then insured? Could someone tell me if I am?

Answer:

Insurance follows the vehicle so if their car is insured you can drive it.  Your friends should also add you to their policy as an additional driver for your time in the US.
