Question:

I am a 20 year old male with no previous infractions or citations on my record. I am from Illinois and was driving through Wisconsin, I got pulled over driving at 106mph (yes it was a terrible decision I made for 15 seconds of my life). My question is how my first ticket will most likely effect my insurance, and if there is anything I would be able to do keep my insurance premium at its current rate.

Answer:

Unfortunately, your rate will go up due to this ticket unless your insurance company has first ticket forgiveness program of some sort.  Most likely your rate will stay the same till your next policy renewal.  But you can always shop for a better rate once your company decides to bump it up.
