in NJ my car was hit while parked in front of my house but a port authority ticket attendee. My car was severly damaged and the csot maybe too much. should they declare a "total loss" what do I do? I have a 2000 MB ml320. HELP!!!

Answer:

It will be up to your adjuster to declare the car a total loss.  It will be based on the current market value of the car versus the damages sustained.
